Xinyx Invests in Filipino IC Design Talent — Nurturing Brilliance, One Scholar at a Time

At Xinyx Design, we believe that shaping the future of microelectronics in the Philippines begins with investing in the next generation of Filipino innovators. True to this commitment, we are proud to announce a major milestone in our mission to nurture homegrown talent: the launch of our scholarship program under the Campus Connect initiative.

On July 14, 2025, we officially awarded our very first Xinyx scholar, marking a new chapter in our partnership with leading academic institutions. This initiative is designed to support promising students in the field of electronics and integrated circuit (IC) design by providing financial support, mentorship, and immersive industry experience.

Meet Isabelle Sta. Rita, a 4th-year BS Electronics Engineering student from De La Salle University, who ranks among the top 20% of her batch. Isabelle has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, and a deep interest in the field of integrated circuit (IC) design—qualities that perfectly align with our mission at Xinyx.

“Isabelle represents the kind of brilliance and drive we aim to support through this program. Her journey is just beginning, and we are excited to be part of it,” said JM Tarasona, Coordinator of Campus Connect.

As our first scholar, Isabelle will receive financial assistance, mentorship from experienced IC designers, and access to hands-on industry training—equipping her with the skills to thrive in the semiconductor design field.

During the scholarship awarding ceremony, Isabelle expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Xinyx and committed to strive for excellence just like what her university and Xinyx stands for.

“This scholarship is more than recognition — it’s a responsibility I carry with pride. It pushes me to live up to the standard of excellence that my university and Xinyx stands for, and it reminds me to stay grounded, humble, and to always be willing to learn. I’m committed to growing not only as a student or intern, but as an engineer who wants to make meaningful contributions to this field.”

Isabelle’s story is just the beginning. Through Campus Connect, Xinyx aims to build stronger bridges between academia and industry—empowering students, strengthening the local talent pipeline, and helping the Philippines take its rightful place on the global semiconductor map.

About Campus Connect

The scholarship is part of Campus Connect, one of Xinyx Design’s flagship initiatives. It is the centerpiece of our Microelectronics Promotion and Development Program, created to bridge the gap between academic institutions and the semiconductor industry. The program is built on five key pillars:

    • Empowering Educators – through faculty immersion opportunities within the industry.
    • Curriculum Development – providing guidance to ensure academic programs remain aligned with evolving industry needs.
    • Fostering the Future – providing scholarships and technical support to promising students.
    • Jump Starting Careers – opening doors to real-world IC design experience through internship.
    • Campus Promotion and Innovation – through campus caravans, funding for EDA tools, and other developmental support
  •
More Scholars to Follow

Isabelle’s recognition is just the beginning. Xinyx is committed to awarding more scholarships in the coming semesters to students who demonstrate both potential and passion for IC design.
