Full-time

Senior RF DSP Engineer

The Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer is responsible for developing Soft IP products for RF signal processing applications. This role requires deep expertise both in RF systems and in developing DSP designs, with a focus on creating efficient, high-performance, and scalable Soft IP for integration into custom FPGA/ASIC solutions.

As a senior engineer, the role can also include involvement in IP product research and development, resource planning, team development, project leading, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with system architects to ensure seamless integration of the designed IPs to an existing RF system
  • Perform RF modeling and simulation to conduct simulations and performance analysis of designed systems and to inform design architecture and to assess integrated system performance relative to specifications
  • Design and implement Soft IP for RF systems, including but not limited to direct digital converters, sample rate converters, modulators, filters, and signal conditioners.
  • Create thorough and detailed design documents, including design specifications, detailed features, microarchitecture, timing diagrams, integration guidelines, and test plans
  • Optimize the designed IPs in terms of number of devices (area), power consumption, throughput, latency, and signal integrity.
  • Integrate and test developed Soft IPs into FPGA or ASIC platform.
  • Work with Design Verification engineers throughout the verification process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the designed IPs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest advances in RF, DSP, and FPGA/ASIC technologies to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into designs.
